This one was tough; among other things there's a kind of plate in a different wood or plywood that crosses the whole body like a cheese slicein a sandwich. When I made the last sanding with some water, the thing started to appear. I sanded again. Then it reacted with the nitrocellulose's humidity after the several coats. I had one idea: apply even more nitro to sand at the end. Still, the finish wasn't even... Instead of water, the last sanding was made with bee wax, which allowed me to have the even finish I was looking for, and make that slice carefully disappear. Man, polyurethane bodies give a hard time to a man!
