Imagine a perfect 2-piece (half/half) Swamp Ash body. Someone over eBay asked me a Trans White finish with no relic; the first 2 coats were fine, I should've stopped there. But no, I found that it was too transparent and gave a 3rd coat... Tried to sand it a bit, but I touched one of the edges, so "Adieu" Trans White perfect finish.
