Still doing some research about nitro checking. This 3-pc Alder body (2.0kg) from Guitarbuild UK went through 2 stages; there were some first nitro checking lines appearing, large and deep - maybe a bit too deep - and a second batch of checking lines, more subtle. Not everyone will like it, but I think it can make a interesting project at the end.
