Last year I have built a Telecaster
Fiesta Red set that really pleased me. So I was wondering what to do
as project two weeks ago when I thought of it. Except that this time
I have prepared 1 of the 3 roasted maple/indian rosewood necks I have
bought lately, and with a matching headstock! The back of this neck
however wasn't sprayed with nitro, just worned, aged, and polished
with bee wax.
One more thing; I have included a used set of Fender Tex Mex pickups that I've found at half of the price here in France, and all the cavities were covered with aluminium foil. 3.3Kg overall weight, Göldo/Thomann hardware, Philip James Luthiers body. All you need is to do the soldering and final adjustments, and you're ready to go!
