One of a kind! I wasn't supposed to buy this one, but I couldn't resist. Double bound B-stock mahogany body. Why B-stock? The neck cavity was reconstructed on the inside, but it was so well done that the neck just went right in without any customization. Really well crafted! I've done an opaque sunburst and left the side on a darker amber to make a little contrast.
I already had a double humbucker Jazzmaster pickguard in aged white that looks great, and those 2 knobs were in stock too. Jazzmaster bridge, Göldo jack, and a 3-way toggle switch with 4 tips are sold with it. As you may have noticed, no stop tail; this could be a great project for a Bigsby-style bridge, or something else you may have in mind.
I was looking for a Jazzmaster neck, but ADP Guitar Parts didn't have what I was looking for, unfortunately. The next day I received 2 necks from the same shop, and there was this Telecaster neck that had the end quite long. So instead of adapting the neck cavity, I gave the neck a rounded heel. Yes, the scale length was perfectly respected.
This is surely an Asian neck. I'm not going to lie; heavy poly finish, hex screw for the truss rod (yes, the truss rod works fine!)... That said, you can buy the body only with every single hardware part except the Fender Roadworn machine heads if you don't want the neck. You can buy those again if you prefer another neck for it. The finish on the neck was quite hard to remove, it has some dings here and there, so I prefer to say it right away. I haven't pierced the screw holes just in case I use them on another project. Just take 100 Euros from the price and all the rest is yours!

Pièce unique ! Je n'étais pas censé l'acheter, mais je n'ai pas pu résister. Corps en acajou double binding, modèle B-stock. Pourquoi B-stock ? L'intérieur du logement du manche a été refait, mais le travail est tellement bien fait que le manche s'est installé sans problème, sans aucune modification. Un travail de grande qualité ! J'ai opté pour une finition sunburst opaque et laissé le côté en ambre plus foncé pour créer un joli contraste.
J'avais déjà un pickguard Jazzmaster double humbucker blanc vieilli qui rend super bien, et les deux potentiomètres étaient disponibles. Un chevalet Jazzmaster, une prise jack Göldo et un sélecteur 3 positions avec 4 embouts sont inclus. Comme vous l'aurez peut-être remarqué, pas de cordier fixe ; ce serait un excellent projet pour un chevalet de type Bigsby, ou autre chose que vous auriez en tête.
Je cherchais un manche de Jazzmaster, mais malheureusement, ADP Guitar Parts n'avait pas ce que je cherchais. Le lendemain, j'ai reçu deux manches du même magasin, et l'un d'eux, un manche de Telecaster, avait une extrémité assez longue. Du coup, au lieu de modifier la cavité du manche, j'ai arrondi le talon. Bien sûr, le diapason a été parfaitement respecté.
C'est clairement un manche asiatique. Je ne vais pas vous mentir : finition polyuréthane épaisse, vis hexagonale pour le truss rod (qui marche, oui!)… Ceci dit, vous pouvez acheter le corps seul, avec tous les accessoires sauf les mécaniques Fender Roadworn, si vous ne voulez pas le manche. Vous pourrez les racheter si vous préférez un autre manche. La finition du manche était assez difficile à enlever, il y a quelques marques ici et là, alors je préfère le préciser tout de suite. Je n'ai pas percé les trous de vis au cas où je les réutiliserais pour un autre projet. Déduisez simplement 100 euros du prix et le reste est à vous !
