Richard is a very cool guy that plays contrabass. That said, he bought a used set of Warmoth's short scale P bass body and neck, which the first owner had painted in dark grey. The challenge was to refinish it in Fiesta Red, no relic this time. Let me tell you that, when you don't have a paint booth, it's not an easy job! I'm not saying that I don't do the best I can on a finish that i'm going to relic, but if you have 1or 2 spots here or there it isn't serious. But this one was serious work! I was very, VERY happy to return it to Richard, and we both love the final result. Check out the latest pictures to see the final assembly.
