This body had a knot right on the corner of it's neck joint, which I did my best to cover, but it also had/has a beautiful wood texture. I love this finish! I inspired myself on a '59 Telecaster in relic'd Dirty White with gold hardware and gold anodized pickguard from Fender CS, except that in my case I used distressed chrome hardware and regular aged aluminium.
There's a slight transparency to it, and I believe it will make an awesome guitar. I will surely try to make this finish on other bodies, it's awesome! Maple neck in Amber finish, Göldo electronics and hardware from Thomann, as usual, and "Voilà!".
