My friend Manu had asked me in 2020, I think, if I could refinish his Eric Clapton Stratocaster body with a light relic Black finish. Life goes on, and this year we finally did it; he stripped off the color, I stripped the poly primer - MERCI ME! - and did a Black finish over White nitro primer. He checked out a Sonic Blue Strat body I had done in... 2018?... and told me to inspire myself on it for the relic job. The finish is not quite plain, and it cracked slightly on the wood joints, which reminds me my black Ibanez RG550LTD; the same thing happened to it over the years, but naturally. The hardware and plastics are from a Strat project I'm building, and was supposed to be ended this week. Stay tuned!
