I had seen the idea but I would surely encounter compatibility problems with the flat heel joint. Plus, the scale would be shorter. Until! ... My supplier sent me a neck that had a longer heel end (check out the last pictures). Roasted Maple and Indian Rosewood, 9.5" radius, 21 jumbo frets, medium C profile, bla bla bla, the same profile I use every time, except for the longer end which was clearly a production mistake. I compared it's fretboard to a regular Tele neck I had in stock, and everything was OK except for that longer end. I measured the length, used the pickguard to get the same round curve, and I sanded off the extra wood. Nice!
The body was finished in Olympic White, but dramatically aged, either in color but relic finish too. Quite agressive ! Then the neck was finished to match it.
The hardware is the common hardware I buy at Thomann, Allparts vintage tuners, etc, and the bridge was bought at ADP Guitar Parts, great stuff! Speaking of bridge, the bridge on the body was actually a 7.25" radius bridge, but I have ordered a new adjustable WD Music bridge which you can see on the last pictures too along with a toggle switch that I'm including also, everything relic'd to match the other metal parts.
