Hi guys, hope you had a wonderful Christmas! Also, hope this new year to come may bring you true joy and peace. And if you allow me, let's not forget those for whom these times haven't been that great too. Maybe you're not living in a war or hunger zone, but who knows if a neighbour next to you isn't in need of a kind word? Or making peace with him. Sometimes all it takes is to say "Hi, good morning!", or "Have a nice day!". This is not only for you, I have to remember myself of these things all the time :)

That said, here's one of my last bass bodies, at least for now. Yes, I do mean "last"; I like basses a lot, but there are two things that are making it harder for me to work on those, specially the first reason: lack of a reliable quality and reasonable price source of necks, and the shipping cost of complete bass sets, due to the size of the boxes.

I have at this moment still 3 bass bodies in stock, this is the first of those 3, made in UK, bought before the Brexit, P50's shape with contours on arm and belly areas, back access control cavity, and regular Precision PU cavity in the front.

Some specs that may be useful: 3-pc Alder, 2.1Kg. No jack input on the bottom, but you have plenty of space to do one inside of the control cavity towards the front. I have made a custom metal cover, but I chose not to do the screw holes in case you prefer to do one in PVC or pickguard material. You'll need BIG Fender bass string ferrules, around 15mm diameter; if I'm not mistaken those are the same as the P51 vintage basses use and I have the feeling Fender has stopped their production, so if you find some online, grab them! PU wiring and bridge ground channels already made! And last but not least, the neck cavity has 16mm depth and 63,4mm at the widest point, Fender compatible specs.

This is a really trashy and dirty B. Blonde nitro finish, it may not please everyody, but it's my kind of thing. The pictures are not bad but they don't make it justice in my opinion. There's plenty of detailed nitro checking all-over, I love it!!

Peace!
