#202457 :: Americana Classic SSS set in Heavy Relic Sunburst :: SOLD

Hi guys!

Here's another Alder Strat body from ADP Guitar Parts made in December 2024; 3-pc, 1.81Kg, standard neck cavity with 55.8mm width and (now) 18mm depth, yes 18mm. Read carefully; I have made the cavity deeper because I try to respect some Warmoth diagrams that I follow since several years. Fender uses 16mm (15,8mm) depth cavities for necks, but my experience tells me that many times the saddles, either on Teles bridges or Strat tremolos stand really high once installed. According to Warmoth the middle of the fretbard should be 9mm above the body's surface, this one is 8mm higher (1mm less, of course). This is particularly important for tremolos that have shorter saddle screws on both E strings's saddles.

I've done this because the body has been on sale since several weeks, but I've added now a maple/rosewood neck to it, and also a 1-ply white (slightly aged) pickguard and a genuine Fender Strat Accessory Kit in Aged White. The neck is vintage style with truss rod access on the heel, 21 Jumbo frets, 9.5" radius, medium C profile with 20mm thickness at the 1st fret and 22,2mm at the 12th fret. The 6 machine head holes have a 8mm diameter for Kluson style tuners. I have also opened a square cavity on the body, behind the truss rod, so you don't have to unscrew the neck in order to tighten or loosen the truss rod (see last picture). The neck is straight, finished in Amber nitro and aged.

The body is finished in Heavy Relic Sunburst and the bare wood is protected with wood wax. My advice is to dry clean it with a cloth or use a small amount of one of those furniture sprays that we find on every supermarket. Keep it simple.

Hope you like it!
