#202501 :: Da'Twang '52 body in Light Relic Butterscotch Blonde :: SOLD

Hey guys!
This last weeks we had some cold here in my region and maybe because of that this 2.26kg 2-pc Alder Tele 50's body's nitro finish is really glued to the wood. If you follow my work I usually do hard relic finishes, but this time I couldn't. I won't hide you that it was quite deceiving. Does it look good? Yeah, it does; nitro checking all over, nice shadows on the contours, no question about it, but light relics are not what I love the most.

The neck joint was prepared to receive a 56mm neck and it is now 17,5mm deep. I've already stated this; these last times I'm making more attention to the neck height, and although Fender's neck cavity depth is around 16mm, when I look at their CS photos the neck seems lower than mine usually are. I've used a 25mm height 9.5" radius neck at the higher point of the fretboard (the middle of it), and I think bridge saddles won't be so high, so, more comfortable in my opinion.

If you're on a tight budget this could be a really nice deal. By the way, the body is a fine quality body made in Portugal by César at AC Guitar Shop, but it won't see their logo on the neck cavity because my mini-milling machine has erased it. It's part of a 5 body order arrived in the beginning of this January.

Take care!
The Baldman
