When #202459 body bought by my friend Romain was posted on Instagram Olivier saw it and he wanted it bad! He has a Caballo Tono Ligero Telecaster, so I needed a body without the vintage hole between the PU cavities, in Alder. The day it was dry enough to relic, he sent me a message saying maybe white would be better. OK, not a big problem.
I have made the relic from the afternoon until late at night, and let it sit. The next day I sent him the pictures, explaining it looked really good. I didn't wanted to force him to buy it, but be aware that I try my best in every project, but sometimes surprises happen; positive or negative. Humidity, finish thickness, drying time, etc., will have an effect on the final look. I wish I could always get what I'm looking for, and many times I do, but not everytime. Another problem is that the special pickguard may not fit the neck cavity dimensions.
After some time to think about all this, he decided to assemble it as a traditional Telecaster with a regular pickguard. It's true it looks very nice I must say. Thanks Olivier!
