New old stock again!
This is the 2nd of 2 Telecaster Alder bodies I ordered for my good friend César from AC Guitar Shop. The first H/S Telecaster set was the #202543 project, and this is basically a reissue with 2 or 3 small differences; a 4-way switch instead of 3-way if you want to split your bridge humbucker, and a DiMarzio 0,33uF cap, which seems more appropriate according to some reading I've done. IF BY ANY CHANCE, you prefer the 3-way switch, please let me know. I have ordered one just in case and I can easily change it.
Right at the end of the assembly, I had an idea: I haven't installed the humbucker frame because MAYBE someone would prefer a Filtertron/Gretsch style pickup instead. It would look awesome and be a great option IMO! Musicstore, Axerus, and other stores sell black plastic frames for this style of pickup, so you have the 4 relic screws, and you can choose to buy one yourself and install it, and it will perfectly cover this humbucker route, no problem with the screws either.

Voici le deuxième corps de Telecaster en aulne que j'ai commandé pour mon ami César chez AC Guitar Shop. Le premier set H/S Telecaster était le projet n° 202543, et celui-ci est une réédition avec deux ou trois petites différences : un sélecteur à quatre positions au lieu de trois pour splitter le micro double chevalet, et un condensateur DiMarzio de 0,33 µF, qui me semble plus approprié d'après mes recherches. SI PAR HASARD vous préférez le sélecteur à trois positions, n'hésitez pas à me le dire. J'en ai commandé un au cas où et je peux facilement le changer.
À la fin du montage, une idée m'est venue : je n'ai pas installé le support du micro double car peut-être que certains préféreraient un micro de type Filtertron/Gretsch. Ce serait une excellente option, à mon avis ! Musicstore, Axerus et d'autres magasins vendent des cadres en plastique noir pour ce type de micro. Vous avez donc les 4 vis de finition et vous pouvez en acheter un vous-même et l'installer. Il recouvrira parfaitement l'emplacement du humbucker, sans aucun problème pour les vis non plus.
