Pine! Yes, pine!
I've found this body on the same UK eBay store where I got some beautiful high quality HSS Strat bodies in Alder, and because it has the 50's style cut I have bought it. And I don't regret it! 2.2Kg is pretty reasonable, and the price, even with duty charges, was good compared to other options.
The finish is all I love, dirty, raw style, following the wood pattern. Someone asked me to add hardware to it, that's why they appear on the pictures. By the way, the Gotoh SD91s are the aged version already, didn't even opened the box. Gotoh VK18 knobs, Göldo traditional bridge, and everything else is pretty much from Thomann, as usual.
I hope he likes it, let's wait and see!
