#202604B :: Da'Twang '52 set in Heavy Relic Butterscotch Blonde

You've probably seen this set as a body and hardware post these last few days.

It started as a usual project but the spanish guitarist Tony Martinez - who besides being a magnificent player, owns one of the most beautiful Les Pauls I have ever seen and some more treasures... - got interested by the body. Then I took care of the hardware too. And this week we agreed on a neck for it.

We've spoken on Instagram (tony waka), and there's a nice detail to it; he has a set of very special pickups made by Joel, from JW Restoration. I must admit I didn't knew the work of this wonderful luthier, but from what I've seen, it was absolutely remarkable. Unfortunately he rests in peace already due to health problems, but I'm sure he and his legacy won't be forgotten. Tony told me he has worked for Joe Bonamassa, Jared James Nichols, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Bruce Springsteen and surely many others.

Not only is it an honor for me to send this set to Tony, but also to know that it will be so very well-equipped.
