Here I am again guys!

Sometimes you ask what's the origin of the body, this time you don't have to. I have bought this Dr. Parts basswood 1.94kg body from the Musiker website and I was very impressed with the quality of the CNC work! As good as any body I've bought in Portugal or UK. There are only two things I would change: it has 42mm thick instead of 44mm, and unfortunately it's not routed for string-through ferrules. But I will definitely buy another soon!

However this is the perfect thing for someone who wants, either to use a top-loader bridge, as some Telecasters did from mid 1958 to mid 1959, or for a Bigsby Tele!

The finish is quite beautiful if you allow me to be slightly proud... It fits a regular vintage neck (as a matter of fact I have one available and ready to go), the cavities are all in the right places as I already stated, so I'll leave you with the pictures.

Vous me demandez parfois d'où vient le corps, mais cette fois-ci, pas besoin de le faire. J'ai acheté ce corps en tilleul de 1,94 kg de chez Dr. Parts sur le site de Musiker, et j'ai été très impressionné par la qualité de l'usinage CNC ! Il est aussi bon que n'importe quel corps que j'ai acheté au Portugal ou au Royaume-Uni.

Il n’y a que deux choses que je changerais : il fait 42 mm d’épaisseur au lieu de 44 mm, et malheureusement, il n’est pas fraisé pour accueillir des ferrules de cordes traversantes. Mais
 j’en achèterai certainement un autre bientôt !

Cependant, c'est l'objet idéal pour quelqu'un qui souhaite soit utiliser un chevalet à chargement par le haut, comme sur certaines Telecaster de mi-1958 à mi-1959, soit pour une Tele avec Bigsby !

La finition est vraiment magnifique, si vous me permettez d’en être un peu fier… Il s’adapte à un manche vintage standard (d’ailleurs, j’en ai un de disponible et prêt à l’emploi), les cavités sont toutes aux bons endroits comme je l’ai déjà mentionné, je vous laisse donc avec les photos.
