This is a Guitarbuild UK 2-pc Alder body, B-stock, again. It weighs 2,06kg (not 2,6!).There are 2 small knots on the back but also it would seem someone left it exposed to humidity, and the wood got greyish - YES, it's perfectly dry now. It was completely sanded, just had to apply my special mojo sauce and nitro the next day. So basically, after the relic job I didn't had to turn the wood grey, just apply my new tinted bee wax to protect it and make it shine. Plenty of nitro checking lines in vertical pattern on the front and back, it looks very good!
PS: I was just exchanging some emails about this body with someone that hasn't decided yet if he's going to buy it or not about measurements and technical specifications. The body is meant for a 56mm traditional neck, the depth of the neck cavity is 17,5mm (Fender and I disagree on that but I find it works better), and although Guitarbuild UK spacing is 56mm for the vibrato I STRONGLY recommend you use either 52 or 54. I've checked 56mm again tonight and it's too close to the edge of the neck.

Voici un corps de guitare Guitarbuild UK en aulne 2 pièces, modèle B-stock. Il pèse 2,06 kg (pas 2,6 !). On note deux petits nœuds au dos, et il semble qu'il ait été exposé à l'humidité, ce qui a donné au bois une teinte grisâtre. Rassurez-vous, il est maintenant parfaitement sec. Après un ponçage complet, j'ai appliqué ma technique spéciale et une couche de nitrocellulosique le lendemain. En résumé, après la patine, je n'ai pas eu besoin de griser le bois, mais simplement d'appliquer ma cire d'abeille teintée pour le protéger et lui donner de l'éclat. De nombreuses craquelures verticales de nitrocellulosique sont visibles à l'avant et à l'arrière, pour un résultat magnifique !
PS : Je viens d’échanger des e-mails avec quelqu’un qui hésite encore à acheter ce corps de guitare, au sujet des dimensions et des spécifications techniques. Il est conçu pour un manche traditionnel de 56mm, la profondeur de la cavité du manche est de 17,5mm (Fender et moi ne sommes pas d’accord sur ce point, mais je trouve que ça fonctionne mieux), et bien que Guitarbuild UK préconise un espacement de 56 mm pour le vibrato, je vous recommande vivement d’utiliser 52 ou 54mm. J’ai revérifié avec 56mm ce soir et c’est trop près du bord du manche.
