You know I like stories, so bare with me. About 3 or 4 years ago I've ordered what I thought were 2x 5L cans of Nitorlack's Golden Age nitro here in France on a guitar kit store. But what arrived at my place was NitorAqua, their water based varnish. That's why it was less expensive... They agreed to take it back, but they wouldn't refund my payment,, so I finally chose an SG Junior kit, one of the only set up necks they had. I changed it a bit, surely the neck is a bit too low, that's why I would recommend you to use a low bridge with individual saddles. My plan was to do a Junior style pickguard and install a Telecaster neck pickup on the neck position, and a P90 on the bridge position, but somehow I lost the will to do it over time and has been sitting there for several months now. I can't guarantee the overall quality of the kit, but the truss rod works and the wiring channels are done. Hit or miss guys, if you want to take the chance.
